Has anyone seen one of these in person or use one yourself? Cant really find many reviews about it. Seems like a good idea for models that are not equipped with a blower fan? But I am not sure if it would be worth the 100.00 investment.
Here is the installation manual. It says to start it before you heat up the stove and keep it running until the stove cools down to keep from wrecking the electricals in it. Not good if the lights go out.
Hi, Rickytim- I bought one, thinking it might be what I want to modify somewhat, for my Fisher insert. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the volume of air it moved. I could hear the motor "surging", it sounded like, to me. So, I went back to what I was using- still in the development stage. It sounds like you got a heckuva deal on yours...
Good luck! David
