Many years ago I remodeled a 100 year old home, had lots of lathe when done. So I saved it to put in a Franklin Fireplace, does that stuff burn. Wish I had a truck load now for kindling. That stuff burns like it was soaked in diesel fuel. Use it just to start fires, burns better than creosote.
