I am not very good at tree ID unless I have some leaves that I can look up, which I don't in this case. Back story, our local Habitat for Humanity chapter acquired several lots recently and was clearing them for building next spring. During the week most of the trees came down and they needed help hauling the brush away on Saturday. There was one tree left that no one had spoken for or wanted so I gave the gentleman from the tree service $10 to buck it to stove length so I could haul. I didn't bring a saw because all the big stuff was supposed to be removed already. So, what is it and was it worth it? I hauled about a pickup bed full and a 5x8 trailer about 2/3rds full. I am guessing about 1/3 to 1/4 cord of wood. The two pics are the same tree.
Also, there are some pine needles in the pics, that is from brush to the recycling center.
Thanks for your help.
