I’ve been on the look out for a used stove and found this used PE summit. Looks like it needs to be painted and some fire bricks replaced. Do you think it is worth going to take a look at? What else should I look for? They are only asking $300. Thanks

For 300 grab it,paint and bricks are cheap.

Doesn't look too bad other than neglect. It's definitely worth taking a look at with cash in hand. Don't snooze on it.

I can't make out the year. Inspect the door opening for cracks in the corners. You may be able to swap some floor bricks for the broken wall bricks. They are pumice bricks and cost about $6-9 each. If it needs a new door gasket, it should be replaced with an OEM part which is about $35.

Looks like the tag says 2012 model but I could be wrong

If that stove was in my area it would be in my garage already, ready for a refinishing.

You better snag that puppy. The baffle tells everything, and it ain't sagged, so that thing has not been run super hard. $300 for a $3,000 stove, yeah man. Get it, paint it, burn it. I didn't realize the B body came with the old style ashlip.
