Is this a good deal? Bought from a reputable shop about 10 years ago, supposedly has sat unused for the last couple of years. If the welds look good is $300 worth it?

Looks like a good deal as long as it ain't abused or cracked.

How good of a deal? I'm not exactly in the market for this right now, but don't mind putting down some cash if it's a bargain. Make an offer at $200, perhaps?

The blower is worth $200. If the baffle and bricks are in decent shape, I'd grab it.

Just looked at it and it looks to be in really good shape. It's the Alderlea T6. Welds look good. The baffle isn't warped. Gasket looks new, although it might be worth replacing since it has sat in storage for the last couple of years. A few cracks in the bricks. Some rusting, but that should clean up pretty easily.

Now, to convince the wife we need a stove we have absolutely no use for at the moment.

Could clean it up, paint and store in a dry location until fall. It should sell for $800-1000 then.
