I have a USSC 5502 and on HR1 seems like the flame is lazy and sometimes looks like no flame is this a draft setting issue? Currently I have it set on auto

How is the exhaust setup, length, 90's, t's?
OAK?
What type of pellets are you burning?
Have you cleaned the pipe and stove recently?
I installed it in October just cleaned it today using corinth which is a softwood and also a tractor supply pellet which is made by the maier pellet company there is only 1 bend on the outside of the house and I'm not using a OAK
And it has been working good before today's cleaning? I don't know your stove but a lot of problems are caused by the same issues no matter the stove. I know there are a few others running that stove here and they should chime in shortly. I'm just asking the questions that they would need too.
I guess I would start with looking for a seal/air leak caused by cleaning today. Door gasket something like that would be my first guess. Or vac switch got bumped during cleaning, but the board should show some type of error for that. Second would be if you cleaned the exhaust that something didn't clear all the way and is plugged up. Third would be something changed on the board.
It didn't start today this is the way it's been since I bought it and I've never really played with the settings

Is there a manual damper on that stove? If there is when you open it some, does the flame get livelier?
Also have you run it on higher settings? Does it run better then?
From what I can see it looks like the same board that the 6041HF runs. If you push the DF down Button and the AUX down button at the same time that should show on the board what your setting for the DF is on HR1. Also push the DF up button and the AUX up button at the same time and that will show the DF setting on HR9 or HR5 which ever is the highest heat range on that stove. Do that and tell me what you see.
YO! You said you haven't changed any setting on that board, correct? If so then I want you to push the AUX UP and AUX UP buttons at the same time and then push the ON button. That will reset the board to the factory defaults. That 100 looks way to low to me, I think it should be around 230 and the 300 looks wrong also. Not sure, but by resetting the board to the defaults will be a start.

Mike....this might be a silly question but, this recent cleaning since the stove was installed back in October was not the first cleaning....correct!
Have you done the factory reset to the default settings? If so, what does the DF on low and high show now?
Check you feed rate setting, do it the same as the DF setting except you use the HR1 and HR9 or HR5 which ever is the hightest # on that board.
Keep notes on what those settings are, then try bumping the DF low setting up by 25 so it's at 125. You do that by holding the DF down and AUX down, when it shows 100 push the AUX up until you get to 125 then push the ON button. If you are going to try this you will need to do it when you are going to be around for a while. This will increase the draft on HR1 and should liven up the flame, if it doesn't after 10-15 mins increase it to 150, do these increases slowly and give it time to show a change in the flame. While doing this you might increase the draft to much for the feed rate on HR1 and the fire might go out, but we can get that fixed by increasing the feed rate on HR1, but first you need to get a nice flame on HR1 by changing the DF.
