I would go to craigslist and search for the pipe. If there is none put an add with a @@@***WANTING PELLET STOVE PIPE***@@@ type of eye grabbing ad. There are many browsers that just do searches by city to see what stuff is for sale and what values until they get bored. I have myself responded to some wanted ads and sold stuff I just had not stared at it long enough to bother with selling it. There are two ads in your area right now.

http://syracuse.craigslist.org/for/2111484143.html Here is one that is stove and pipe for 250. If you can swing the 250 and the pipe will work on your setup I would consider buying this one and cleaning up the stove keeping the pipe and reselling the stove for 250.

So could this be my 3 year problem? Ok, so I know I don't have the right pipe, but for an experiment and before I spend $200 or so on vent pipe, I hooked up the stuff I got at HEP SALES. ( see pic below) Since I have hooked this stuff up, I am getting about 20 or 30 degrees hotter air out of my blowers, ( using the Cubex pellets that I was complaining about) than I was using the direct vent. So does a vertical vent system really help my heat output this much? Or maybe its all in my head that it is hotter..of course I am still running it on the highest setting which I don't like but, Grant it, it was 11 outside this morning and 66 inside, but I chalk that up to see through doors and not complete insulation and a freezing basment.

from what you can see in these pics, and your expertise. Do you see anything that could cause poor burning issues? I believe this is a 4" pipe...
the pics show the pipe coming from my stove, into a 45 degree then straight out my wall.

Hey,
Does that hood at the end come off for easy cleaning? Hard to insert a vacuum hose to clean it.
