Vf55 cast?

Hello, I have a vf55 and love it! The only problem is the fire brick in the back has never fit right and the local dealer is not willing to help... I was thinking of changing out to the m55 cast plate. What parts are needed to do this?

The M55 cast wall should fit right in...look in an owners manual
