(please LMK if I should use a different forum for this question)
We have a very small woodstove (a Harman, non-cat), and often times natural firewood is too long, wet or too much trouble to use.
Duraflame logs (wax logs) are nice, but they are very expensive (even with the coupons). A year ago, while visiting upstate New York, I bought some compressed wood logs from a store there, on sale for $2 or $3 per 20 pounds. These were the logs: (broken link removed) They worked great, but that place is a 6 hour drive away.
Biobricks / compressed wood briquettes would be OK, too..
Didn't there used to be a page where people entered when they bought firewood or other biomass fuel, and then you could search on what prices people were paying in different locations?
Thanks,
Peter
