Hi
We moved into a house last summer with a Waterford 103 wood burning heat stove that looks like it hasn't been used for a while (maybe more than a year).
None of us has any experience at all with this kind of stove, and could use any help or suggestions about how to check it out before we light it up, how to start a fire, maintain it and any other tips.
How far should furniture be from the stove? How hot does it get and how to control the heat? Can it be left burning overnight? Just some questions we have.
Any links, help or advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
