Last weekend it was up in the woods after birch.

Now it's split and stacked, I got the wheelbarrow over to some oak which has been in a park over the road for a month now.

5 barrow loads later, and I have some more cutting and splitting to do.

Even a bonus bit of cherry there too ;-)

That looks like the type of wood I frequently get - lots of Ys, knots, etc. It should be some work to split, but oak is worth it.

We are burning now, but not serious 24/7 stuff like you guys do.

Night time temps around 26 - 28f, and daytime around 38-40f.

Perfect for burning the birch I collected and split a year ago.

And yes, that's a palm tree, look a bit different to a year ago when everything here was covered in snow, our coldest December ever!!!
