That front is supposed to hit Long Island tonight. And then the long term forecast is cold.

That same albino rain hit me as well. 20 degrees below normal with cold forecast for the foreseeable future. Sucks.

Finished covering a boat this morning. I had to brush off a few inches of wet snow.

I say bring it! I haven't been ice fishing since March!

I'm outside every day! Lol. Nuisance wildlife doesn't care about the weather. Well, they do. They move into houses to keep warm.

Friday evening I was tuck pointing a foundation in mid 30s rain. The overhang kept the work dry, but me, not so much.

We slow down in the winter though. Insects drop down to the skeevy (technical term, lol) stuff like roaches and bedbugs.

Well it is approaching mid November. It has been warm here too until a few days ago. We just started burning then. This is the latest date for us.

It looks like that four letter S word!!

This feels like December weather now. Maybe that 3.5 tons of pellets won't be enough for the entire season.

Don't wait too long. I got 3 Tons in Sept and got another 2 month later. So easy without snow everywhere. But that is changing where I live (WA State). Winter looks Wet!

I was hoping to use only 1 ton of pellets to the new year, but that plan is out the window. I think I'll use the Home Depot strategy - buy 5 bags at a time every time I go shopping there - and I am there at least once a week buying stupid stuff. Right now the only thing I fight when moving pellets are fallen leaves and rain, though there is a possibility of snow later in the week.

Snow 2 weeks early as compared to the last 10 years or so, temps in the teens over night maybe mid 20's day. these kind of temps are usually seen in Dec. sporadically. Course if one goes back to the 50's and 60's normal temps. Global warming - ba hum bug.

Lol, had snow yesterday, ice this morning. More on the way Friday! It's here!

Drove by a house today and saw what looked like sandbags piled to the roof on the porch. Took me a second to realize those were bags of pellets!

this is weird. we never had leaves on the trees this late and 60's now it is 19 out and expecting 4 to 7

3" - 6" or 5" - 8" forecast here in Eastern MA from two different sources. Need to move firewood to the rack in the garage this morning after I set up a fire for tonight.

Don't like getting snow before I finished with the leaves and haven't cleaned the gutters.

we went 65º and sunny, 19º and 8" of snow, and 50º with snow in 2 days.

10 degrees last night. High end of the forecast is for 12" tonight. I'm not ready for this yet, not ready...

I haven't cleaned the gutters yet either.

Oops. Leaves just finished falling a week or so ago.

4-6" here. We'll see.

The radar sure looks pretty.

Man, what a mess this storm made. There is slush and rain and leaves everywhere.

too soon. we got like around 7 inches. I've grown up usually seeing snow flurries on thanksgiving day or it's 60 out. not left over snow

Supposed to be above freezing during the day this weekend. I hope a lot of this burns off.

The forecast for this week is some January cold.

I've got an ATV, a winch, and a plow - but they're not all one assembly at the moment. Some lovely looking snow tires that aren't on rims. The gutters didn't get cleaned and as for the leaves in the yard, well, spring is coming...

Other than plenty of seasoned wood and my Xmas shopping being done, I'm not ready. Who do I speak to about this? :p
