What the heck is "clam wood"?

In my experience, clam wood takes practically forever to dry and will chill you twice.
 
...Unless he means clam moulding. It's shaped in a simple curve, sort of like Danish Modern. Heh! Much less ornate than colonial trim. BTW only OK to burn if it is unvarnished, unstained, unpainted. Otherwise, into the dumpster with it.

OK, he really means Clam wood. What the heck is Clam wood, anyway? Never heard of it.
 
You can sell that? It should be free.
 
I assume he may be talking about the "clam" grabber on a boom truck. They probably mean logs.
 
I never heard it called that before but I woke up with some this morning!
