It's my first year with my stove and I am trying to find somewhere local to buy good quality pellets at a reasonable price. I recently bought 1.2 ton of lacretes from Macmanus Fuels in Barrington, However it is an hour each way and my trailer will only take a pallet at a time. I would like to find something closer. I am close to both Lowes and Home Depot but have read mixed reviews on their pellets. I was also thinking about trying out Woodpellets.com. Any info/recommendations would be appreciated! Thaks

mcmanus, great people. it would help if you let us know the town you live in. a 60 mile radius is a big area.

I agree. Henry is a very friendly guy. I live in Tilton.
I'm in Laconia and buy some of my pellets at Osbournes Agway in Winnisquam. They are carrying Lacretes, NEWP and Logik-E this year (at least that's what they had when I bought mine a month or two ago.
Other options are Green Team Platinums from Lowe's (very hot, reasonable ash level), and Fireside Ultras from HD (good heat, average ash, great price). Both Lowe's and HD will accept coupons, so you can save some more that way.
TSC in Tilton probably carries MWP again this year (good price, average heat, reasonable ash level). TSC also accepted a HD coupon last time I tried.
Laconia Oil carries Curran blend and Curran Softwood (haven't tried either).
Trustworthy Hardware in Laconia carries Lignetics (very hot, average ash).
Eased Edges in Laconia carries MWP.

There are others, but those are the better choices. Hope that helps!

Osborne's Hooksett just had a truck of Lacrete delivered. Winnisquam is scheduled for a load next week and Belmont 2 weeks or sooner.

Just to clarify something, the Winnisquam and Belmont locations are the same place...it's basically on the border so it gets called both things.
