I am in the process of clearing a large area of buckthorn. I took this tree down and it is orange inside just like a buckthorn . Wondering do they get this big or is it something else?

I guess it could be a big buckthorn, any chance maybe its cherry?

Ok Thanks.

For sure that is a really nice cherry. Dries fairly fast and burns good. Perhaps not the best for those long overnight burns in winter but still good firewood.
