the tree guy said it was from a nut tree but I dont think he is knowledgeable guy but I want your opinions

Looks a little dirty but I think Bradford Pear.Is the wood brown or light brown.

Looks loke Norway maple,to me.
 
I agree the big round in the center of the pic and the small pieces at the top of the photo looks like Red Maple. There is a piece of cherry (I guess) in the lower left corner of the pic.
 
Bottom left cherry everything else tulip.
 
Bottom left Cherry, my vote Maple for the rest. Tulip should have a thicker bark and some color in the core, I think.
 
Oh...didnt see that botttom left round....cherry for sure.....the rest is maple. All of is good for spring/fall/start-up fires.
