Well despite the theft I loaded the wood rack and am trying out a new tarp idea for the winter. It looks like it will work well assuming the coming storm doesn't tear it to shreds ! after I finished tarping tonight the sky turned brilliant purple so I took that shot as well. At least there is some beauty coming from this storm.

The sky turned bright red just before the sun set all the way but I could not get a good picture. :( It really brought the beauty out of my firewood. :)

beauty of a sunset Pete, and nice load of wood.

I guess I missed the theft post - How much got gone?

Thanks Basod 5.75 cord total from my property and my fathers.

I tell you what the sunset was so beautiful it makes you realize how good life is and the blessings in life. Every thing else just seems to be tiny after that !

Somebody was serious about heating with someone else's wood.

holy crap....holds 30 cord, how much do you have stacked outside, or do you leave it inside and just rotate through it. thats a lot of wood to tote with that wheel barrow. thats a pretty big shed to fill.

I split it and leave it in a big pile outside until the fall, then I stack it inside...The shed isnt weather tight as you can see so it will still dry a bit in there..I do 15 cord on each side

mine isn't weather tight either, have about 1" spacing between the decking sides. figured it kept most of the wet out and still allowed a little air to circulate.
