Heck of a deal. Something doesn't look quite right with the stone, but it would still be worth it, even if it needed a rebuild.

That is the ugliest damned wood stove I have ever seen in my life. My old stove/meat smoker sitting in the back yard looks better. Some fool painted the thing and then used something to take some of the paint off of the stone.

Yeap pretty ugly... you guys forgot the link though. Looks like someone was using it for an ash tray also. Look at the butts inside the flue collar.

I wonder what happened to the stone and if it can be sanded off? Doesn't look like they took care of it. Too bad it's not located around here, I'd like to take a looksee and see if it was worth a rebuild.
