Hello to all and thanks for having me here.
My question concerns location of a receptacle (110volt outlet) in relation to my englander 12fp WOODstove. I have it in a corner installation and minimum clearnace to combustibles is 5 inches at the corners. http://www.englanderstoves.com/manuals/12-FP.pdf I have mine at 9 inches at the corners. My concern is the electrical outlet directly at that corner on the adjacent wall. Is this outlet going to have problems? It is a 15 amp plastic receptacle in metal box with a plastic cover. This 12fp unit has an optional blower that I may or may not use depending on how it heats the house and I would need an outlet in the end to plug it into. Does anyone have a receptacle located to the side/behind or near their woodstove and what are clearances and how does it hold up.
Thanks so much for this forum I learn something new every time I am on.
PS camera is down right now I hope to get a new one soon and show pics
