Went out this morning and picked up some ash and also a elm that had fell in the field. I've had my eye on this since deer season and just couldn't wait any longer.
Took some pics of what will be cut for the next load. There's 3 dead ash side by side that will be real easy and the main trunk of the elm. I'm inclined to leave that elm , I hate splitting it, but if its at all tuff, stringy, and just plain nasty then I will haul it over some late night to the guy with the "red" milkcrate and drop it off in his driveway!
Didn't fill the trailer to full, still some low spots back there that haven't frozen solid yet.
