Is it normal for the factory blower to cycle when the STT is 675-700*F and in auto mode?

I know its supposed to shut down when the stove is cold and no longer producing heat, but lately I noticed it cycling when the box is hot and at operating temps.

It could have been doing it all along and I never noticed or maybe it kicks out at 700?

Any ideas? Right now the STT is 625, and the fan is running fine.

If your blower unit is actuated by a thermo-disk, check to see if there is an air gap between the stove body & the surface of the t-disk. If the gap is too great, the passage of air being drawn into the blower will allow the t-disk to cool & open, causing the blower to stop. Once the t-disk heats back up, it will close again turning the blower on...I've seen this happen on units with t-disk brackets made from very thin sheet metal, which will distort over time, from the heat & pull the t-disk away from the stove body.

Yes this unit has a Tdisk. I never thought of that.

The bracket for the tdisk on my unit is pretty heavy gauge sheet metal though.. And it had a pretty significant bend in it to put good pressure on the firebox. I will check the clearances next time this happens.

There is no high temperature cut off for the blower that you are aware of is there? When I notice this happening, the stove is quite warm
 
Ours has never cut out on high-temp. And the stove has gotten plenty hot at times.
 
usally if there a large bend as you but the fan on the stove, it allows the t-disk to tip away on one side which allows it to cool and then cycle the fan. When I install a fan on a P.E. stove I try to set it up so that there is only abut 1/8 inch of pressure on the t-disk which allows full contact of the t-disk
