You have to be insured and cut them at dawn? Haven't seen that before.

Yes he is a dreamer. More like He's going to have to pay $500 to have cut, and give the wood away to get rid of it.

I agree. Dream on...

Pine in new england with those terms? wonder how close to house/structures those "monster pines" are given the insurance requirement.

"A duel? I choose chainsaws at dawn!"

ignorant jackass.

In additon to the above, I can't imagine two pine trees yeilding two cords, but whatever.

Not unusual for a pine tree out West here to yield a cord or more, but I think your pine trees are smaller,,,,,,,,,,, of course your cords are smaller too. No such thing as a "face cord" around here.

Yeah and I didn't even read it right. It's two cords per tree. I have ony seen one or two pitch pines that were a cord or more, and thats if you save all the branches down to one inch. They typicaly only live 40 years or so and can't get that big in that time.

I've done veg surveys out west that included HUGE yellow pines (ponderosa or jeffrey)

Oh, sweet deal . . . and I am insured . . . Travelers covers both my house and my car . . . if only burning pine didn't cause baldness. ;)
