Saw this on facebook market place. I thought it was pretty funny.
I have a similar meter and a fresh cut maple reads about 35.. Two weeks later it's in the low 20s.

That image looks exactly the same as a CL posting for "seasoned" mixed hardwoods here in the Madison area. Guy wants something like $300 a cord and used that image to show how dry his wood is. I'm guessing it's just some stock image anyone can find and put up on their firewood sales page.

For that meter, and measuring oak or cherry it should be set to "3", which will change the measurement.
