I understand that old complete cook stoves bring big $$$

The prices for these old stoves varies a lot. For some people they are just white elephants and hard to get rid of. For others, they are revered, restored and cherished. Prices seem to reflect this. I've seen some fine old stoves going for a song on craigslist locally. And others are asking top dollar.

Seems like a lot of money .You could buy a new cook stove for the same money and they work better and really throw some heat.

I've seen old cook stove go for that price. They are normally in very good condition, no rust, new paint, etc so to be that one seems a little on the high side

If it was a re-furb I could understand. As is I dont see paying that.
