BK's have a good reputation, so you'll have no problem selling it. If it's a newer model and if good shape, combusters don't need replaced, then I'd say you should be able to get at least $1000 for it if not more.

Timing and the market obviously have an impact.

Why are you selling it?
 
PT 202 in a pre EPA non catalytic model. In many regions they are illegal to exchange ownership or install. Check local codes and legal implications. Great old heaters.
 
I'd be curious as to why he's selling it also!
