Can someone please recommend an honest dealer in central MA? I see so many firewood dealer on CL but not much for grapple load. Also, don't know who to trust. I'm a newbie. Thank you.

I get mine from Levesque Wood Co. in Andover, Ma. Very trustworthy... but I don't think he will deliver too far away, you could try calling though.

I ended up getting 4 cords from RJ Amaral in East Douglas. I don't know how far he will go but he said they hand load and when I stacked it they ended giving me slightly fat cords so i was happy. Some of the stuff was a little moist but stacked i think the majority will be dry enough to burn fine.

Try "wholesale firewood tree length" or keywords of that nature on craigslist.
Every now and then someone in the area ( clearing house lots /power lines ??) will try to sell there.
Like this :(broken link removed to http://southcoast.craigslist.org/grd/4040868919.html)

I have no idea who that is and is not a recommendation, I just see these ads every now and then on c-list.
I'm guess that guy is selling logs mills don't want - which should be great for firewood although that seems a bit pricey to me.
