Chimney box confusion - please help

Okay, I’m losing my mind over this. Hours and hours searching it just seems silly.
If you don’t want to read all this, here’s the question:
How can I get a alfuel hst support box to fit my Selkirk st 6inch double walled pipe?
All I need is the box

I purchased property a few months ago and I’m remodeling the mobile home that was here. There was quite a few things left on the property, one of them was a few nice 6inch double walled Selkirk chimney pipes.

I replaced the roof, they gave me a heat rated pipe boot. All good.
purchased a chimney pipe cap, all good
I have a (new to me) wood stove, and some single walled stove pipes.

ALL I NEED IS A COMPATIBLE SUPPORT BOX. After reading some descriptions, I’m finding that durvent, and alfuel hst support boxes are not compatible with a Selkirk. I cannot, for the life of me, find a purchasable support box for this darn pipe. I’ve already purchased two only to be contacted by the company for out of stock.
This is so silly! It’s a black steel box! It should be illegal for these company’s to make simple components incompatible. My frustration is indescribable.

How can I get a alfuel support box to fit my Selkirk pipe? it’s the only option available in my area. I’m building a stone hearth this week, I’d love to get the stove in before I freeze lol please, someone help me.

To my understanding Selkirk products are tested and approved using all Selkirk products. Mixing different manufacturers products in a chimney installation isn’t tested and therefore can’t be approved. I THINK that you need a Selkirk ceiling support box if you want to run a Selkirk Class A chimney thru the roof. I believe the black stovepipe can be from a different manufacturer up to the ceiling support box.

I have arrived at this conclusion by my own research and reading posts on this forum. I COULD be wrong so by me replying to your post if nothing else it will bump your post to the top. If I’m giving you bad/wrong advice someone will correct me.

When I looked for a Selkirk ST ceiling support box, this came up. It says mobile home approved. Don’t see the ST part listed, maybe it’s there somewhere.

Selkirk confuses me

I'm using Northline Express Website for reference. They show in stock on only a few Selkirk ceiling boxes. Depending on what you have for a ceiling they show several for flat ceilings and cathedral ceilings. Some of their ceiling support boxes come with the pipe adapters and some appear not to.

I would call Northline Express and talk to them for the best solution. There are other online retailers that can help you find the right support.

One issue to keep in mind is that you will going from a double wall chimney pipe (ST) to either a single wall or double wall stove pipe so you will need an adapter based on what you have for stovepipe.

Northline Express also has the installation instructions posted on each individual Selkirk piece, probably all leading to the same general set of instructions, but it's something!

Selkirk and Duravent are both owned by the Duravent Group.
