Classic bay first overnight burn, seceret setting ?

I think I have the few issues was up against figured out. Finally let it burn all night set around 68. Was nice to come down to a hopper almost still full of pellets. Lingnetics seem to burn way better than the hamers in this stove.

I'm still not getting the bang out of it like my englander. I've been reading on here all weekend expecting to find the secret abcd setting like the englander had that made it a powerhouse.

Not sure what you mean by bang ? Is it on a thermostat ? What settings is it on now ?

Mine is always high fan medium heat, after trying other settings . Mine never bangs .

The Englander seemed like it put out a lot more heat. This stove is almost 20k more btu and its not much different or putting that much more heat out. I have it on high heat and a thermostat set at 70 with a swing value of 2. It has been struggling for 2 hours to get to 70 from 65 with an outside temp of around 48. Maybe I a missing the fan speed setting/heat setting. I only have an on/off switch and high, med, low fan setting.

Have you set the feed gate per manual? I usually run mine on low heat with high fan. There are two switches on the side. First one is "heat" (H-M-L) second is "fan" (H-L).

Found the two switched as soon as i posted that last comment. The one switch looks like a on off with the symbols...didn't know it was a fan speed. its weird when i put the heat setting on medium or low it changes my fan speed or overall stove sound too. Finally got up to 72 in the house.

Only reason I ask about the "secret setting" like the Englander is because i called quadrafire they told me about a +10 setting for the feed gate. I guess you can open you feed gate all the way up and then adjust the control board to a +10 to go even further on the feed ratio.

The quad has two fans speeds for each heat setting, so yes when you change the heat setting the fan speed changes also.

The way I set my feed gate was to burn about 5 lbs of pellets per hour on high, I did this when it was cold enough out to let the stove run for 12 hours straight without shutting down.

the CB1200 is a very simple unit to run. AFAIK there aren't really any secret combinations.
Start with setting the feed gate properly. With stove on H (heat) and H(fan) let it run for about 10 min. Then start adjusting the feed gate (a little at a time +/- 1/8"). Let run for another 10 min. Adjust the gate so that the flame rises above the edge of the burn pot by about 6". This is the optimum adjustment per manual. Any lower speed / heat combo will burn shorter.
I rarely run mine above M (heat) so I have adjusted so that the flame is a little higher. Be very careful in that you can "over-fire" and cause other problems.
The only time flames should come close to the top is on startup and that will die down once it gets going.
