Question:

We bought a home that has a Consolidated Dutchwest Federal Box Heater. I have never used a wood stove. How does it work? Can I get a manual from somewhere? This model is not made any longer, however the brand name and some of the designs were purchased by Vermont Castings and are still made. You may be able to find an older Vermont Castings dealer that has information about this stove.

Answer:

Your yellow pages should list Vermont Castings dealers under "Fireplaces" or "Stoves, Wood and Coal"..or try the www site : http://www.vermontcastings.com
