Door Gasket size for Jotul C450 Kennebec?

I purchased a home with a not-so-well maintained Jotul c450 insert. I've replaced the glass panels, glass gaskest and door gaskets but there remains a small strip missing where the two doors meet and I'm not sure whether it's 1/4" or 3/8".

I've attached a picture which better explains....the remaining chunk at the top is too chewed up to determine the diameter.

Can anyone out there lend a hand?

Only one side has the gasket, I cant remember which since it has been a while, I think the right hand side has the gasket and it was 3/8".

thanks, ill dry fit in the 3/8" and see how the door closes
