Hi, does anybody have a step by step guide for how to replace the firebox refractory assembly on an Encore 2550?

Super Grateful.

You’ll need to remove the throat hood, then the cast iron firebox sides, then the damper assembly. You’ll need to take the bypass damper handle off too, it takes an Allen wrench. While the damper is out be sure to re-gasket it. Plan on breaking some bolts, you’ll need some 1/4-20 bolts a drill bit and bottom tap to go with it. I think the sides are 1-1/4” the bypass damper bolts pass through on that model if I remember correctly, so no tapping will be necessary there. They are 2” or so. All bolts use a 7/16” socket
