First time I've loaded it up this year... With some cold temperatures coming it's time to get a nice supply inside.

It takes 9 wheel barrow loads to fill it up.

Nice fire.
Looks like 10 days ± , of inside dry wood supply

Is the window the wood chute?

Thanks. I'm hoping for 20 days + but I'm not sure since this is the first year with the new stove.

No - It's a raised ranch so I bring it in directly through the double doors in the basement (wheelbarrow)

Looks like that will last you awhile.

Looks like your set Kaptain. We're at 9.1 at the moment with some winds that make it feel colder, Wednesday thru Friday is suppose to be our coldest, the beech and sugar maple are all set.

Do you play 301 often? Great game.

Nice setup. Looks like you're ready for a cold spell.
Looks like the coffee is on also.

What kind of stove do you have there? Sorta looks like a Buck... maybe a 74

It's a 30 NC actually, first year with it.

I'm already about half way through the one stack in 5 days but that gets me close to my 20 + day estimate. I've also been off work so I'm using more wood than normal.

My routine is to refill each rack once it's completely empty - I'll pull from the other rack and keep alternating for the remainder of the year. This gives me a bit more drying time as well.

I reloaded the one side on 1/8 so that lasted 9 days with the cooler temperatures. Now with it being a bit warmer I'm still at a bit over half on the other rack - I'm pleased with that after 15 days.

Nice setup Kaptain. Looks pretty practical and cozy for those cols days and nights. I envy the walkout basement, I sure miss having one.
