Hi , I was happy as a clam with my new large flush insert for a month now . Today I made good fire and blower is not kicking in. I suspected it took longer for the past times for it to work than in the begining. Today it's dead . Checked all the connections , rheostat . Stove is hot, combuster is glowing,surround is 250f. Temp is 500f on a top , it's been 2 hours . Is it thermodisc failure? . Where is it , I didn't find location in manual . Oh , hell .... As I was typing it ,blower kicked in . I'm sure that something is wrong with it . The stove was radiating heat like crazy ,combuster was glowing . It took about 30 min in a past with much smaller fire for blower to kick in . Any input?

Just had my fireplace extraordinaire large hybrid insert installed yesterday, and have really enjoyed its heat today. Given it was only installed a month ago, I'd contact the installer if you continue to have problems or are concerned. Any reputable business would come check it out if it sounds like you're having trouble after only a month.

That is why I don't like a blower. Too complicated.
Even if it works, when you have a five day power outage due to an ice storm, it won't work at all.

This sounds stupid - but try disconnecting the power for a few minutes. Reconnect and start a fire and see if it comes on as expected.
I have a pellet stove from the same manufacturer as the fireplace extraodinare, so I'm assuming there may be a common component.
I have had a case where the blower fan just wouldn't come on after it should have. Pulling the power for a bit fixed it. Since these have small computers in them it's possible something was messed up in memory.
I purposely disconnect the power once a month now on my unit to avoid this. It's on a surge protector as well.
