Forgot to open bypass on reload with BK. Any damage done?

I always open the bypass to reload my Sirocco 30.2. This time I forgot and I realize this can shock and damage the cat. I'm wondering if damage was done with a one time incident.

I sure hope not. I would hope the parts are not that fragile if not following the manual to a "T" 100% of the time.
