FYI - I’ve been seeing lots of Free firewood posts on Marketplace here in NJ recently. I just got 2 CRV loads worth of nice Oak from a post near me with drive right up access. perfect for me as I like to mark and cut it myself.

Yea, it’s that time of year. All of the tree guys are getting stuffed, one of mine just called me and offered to drop it off, which is not typical.

If you’re in need of firewood, it’s a good time of year to make friends with a tree service.
