Blemished from amfm energy. Current price is 799$ with free shipping if anybody else is interested. I've been wanting one for years and my gas grill has rusted out to the point that the burners are falling off.

This grill costs the same as the new traegers at Costco and I believe the grill will be more versatile. I hope to use this as both my grill and my smoker. No more LPG!

Some pics.

It only weighed 350# on the pallet so like with the woodstoves I just slid the whole pallet out of my F350 down the ramps. No sweat. Pickup at the freight terminal just means you pick it up where they fork lift it into your truck instead of liftgate delivery to your home. The shipping company has a terminal that calls you when it arrives. Choose this option if you have a truck tor trailer that will accept fork lifted merchandise.

This was a blemish stove and the dent shown is the damage. No big deal and I did spend a little time to try and pound it back out to where it is almost unnoticeable. The savings for this blemish more than made up for the damage in my opinion. The stove ships with a can of paint and believe me you will need it. The dang thing had scratches, scrapes, and rubbed off paint all over it. Just about every panel had some paint added.

I started out with some frozen burgers and bacon just to splash some grease around on all the bare metal. Then I cooked some pizzas on a stone to see what she could do. 550 on the indirect side which means the upper grate was near 600 and the cast iron direct grate over the fire for steaks was near 800. I bought this grill largely because of the high heat grilling abilities and it makes a lot of heat. I also baked bread and cornbread this weekend. The baking is odd, it doesn't brown the top as much as a regular oven I think because it is acting like a convection oven with a decent air flow through the oven all the time. I easily cooked that cornbread on the top rack above the firepot while cooking those ribs at 290 (just the last hour).

I'm grilling everything in sight!

Feel like a pellet hoarder. Found these hickory bear mountain pellets for 11.95$ per 33# bag so I bought three bags. The pellet consumption is pretty slow unless you are cooking something at 550 for an hour like when I was heating the pizza stone.

I'd like to see more of that grill. I use those same pellets in my GMG.
I have a kill a watt meter that I used to find that my GMG only draws a little over 250 watts on start up with the igniter on, then about 40 watts or so running the fan and auger. I wonder what your grill would draw. If it's not much more than the GMG, I'd consider looking at a grill like yours for a second pellet grill. Not that power consumption is the only factor I look at, but I hope to be running them on solar eventually.

Man, the stuff you've made with your new grill already looks awesome. I dont have a cook top or oven in the house. I use the grill for any "cooking" I do.

Thanks Deezl. Since this thing can attain and hold "oven" temperatures I am using it to cook anything I can instead of heating up the house and using my electric oven. It works like a convection oven since there is always an air/smoke stream flowing through the unit. At oven temperatures the combustion is very clean so very little smoke is being made. The bread had zero odor of smoke. I was actually hoping for a little smoke flavor on the bread. The electrical consumption is listed in the manual but is probably worst case. I believe it is higher than your GMG.

I got rid of the gas grill yesterday. Gave it away curbside but kept the LP tank.

So far I have grilled burgers (plenty hot), baked pizza at 550-580 (really hot), baked bread at 375, and BBQ'd ribs at 270. Only thing left to experiment with is jerky and maybe something really cold like cheese. This thing has a great range of outputs that makes it versatile.

Only drawback so far is the side opening doors. Since it is so wide, when I open both doors at once my apelike wingspan is not quite enough to gently set the door down against their wide open stops. Almost have to open one at a time. Another small drawback is the size of the hot grill portion. The grilling area is not as huge as a modern gas grill. It's fine for my family but you would quickly run out of space if trying to grill for two families. Since this grilling area is over the burnpot I can't imagine a way to solve this one without a second burnpot.
