Gang,

Harman has evidently told dealers that due to high demand for wood-burning appliances, they no longer accept orders for gas appliances after February 2009. Production of gas appliances will be halted for a minimum of 18 months so that all resources can be devoted to production of wood and pellet stoves.

Pretty interesting...if the price of oil continues to fall, this is gonna change fast!

Harman was never big on the gas end anyway, so it's probably just as well they stop making those- the same company makes lots of gas stuff in their other divisions.

Just so long as they get me my Harman in November as promised. Got three tons itching to be put to the fire!

Drop in oil is only temporaly, mabye for a year or so, then will clime back up again.
