Need help deciding on a small insert for a zero clearance fireplace. I have a heatilator 42 which is 20 7/8 high this has limited my choice to

Lopi Answer 66000 btu epa 4.4, Quadra fire 2700I 55000 btu epa 4.2, PE Vista 56000. epa 2.9 or Regency I1200 55000 btu epa 3. I realize I will not be able to heat the whole house with a small insert but I am hoping to use less $4.50 gal oil.

Personally I'd get the Lopi (personal prejudice). All of those brands listed are great stoves though.

All are good, but I would read the warranties of each carefully.

I do know that the new regency i1200 is designed for prefabs, with a new fluecollar to make installs easier.
