Hopes dwindling for 30nc sale

So I have been religiously visiting the depot's in my area and talked to an associate yesterday about possible sale. He said we are still selling a lot of stoves so no idea if they will go on clearance. Well if that's the case they have same inventory in 3 different stores for last 3 weeks. So I took his comment amount selling ALOT of these with a grain of salt. Anybody heard of any clearance prices anywhere in the northeast region of U.S.?? Still holding out hope here in Maine.

Have you tried the online order route.

Put in the VA zipcode of the Home Depot warehouse near the 30's factory as your store. I got mine at $699.00 free delivery last year. Just make sure your delivery address is correct. Many have done this on the forum.

I have tried the Bristol,VA store online but out of stock there. Think zip was 24202?do you remember roughly what time of year it was when ordered??

That's unfortunate. My local store here in VT didn't discount the stove all last year, even into Summer.Actually have never discounted below the $899.00 normal price.

Yes that's the same situation I have at my local stores 899.00 all last year as well!!

thats what I am seeing as well, maybe HD and lowes arent over ordering anymore

i got to think if it doesnt go onsale by end of month it probably wont

Exactly a year ago (3/01/12) was when I saw it on sale at the Bristol store online, not sure how long it went for.

Yes I agree 899 is still a good price for this stove. It's just the inner cheapskate in me that keeps me hunting for a deal!!

Gonna wait another couple weeks. Check a 100 zip codes around the depot site but nothing as of yet?

If I remember correctly I talked them down to 899. It was a bit higher. I'm happy with the deal.

899.00 is still one of the best buys on the new stove market - especially with free delivery. I like the 699.00 I paid better but over the 10-20yr life of the stove it will not even be a bother.

You may need to wait for burning season to end around April May that's when they all go on sale around here.

Yes that's the same situation I have at my local stores 899.00 all last year as well!!

Personally I think $899.00 is still a great deal on this stove.. I do wonder what Woodstock's new stove will sell for and consider it a contender.. The few reports I've read about PE's True North also merit a look too in this price range..
