Jotul No.3 originally woodburning converted to gas?

Hi, I have come across a couple of gas burning stoves described as Jotul #3, with "Living Flame" by Gazco. Does anyone know if these originally were wood burning stoves that were converted to gas by the company Gazco and if so, could they be converted back to wood again again? They look like "Jøtul F 3" on the Jotul website - not like GF 3 CF or GF 3 BF2 (if that is any help).
