Anything you can offer for info would be appreciated. A friend of mine has one ordered as of last evening. Standard install in a walk out basement with 2 sides of the foundation completely exposed and 2 tucked into a hill. 30' of chimney + or -.
Nice place. Replacing a ancient Woodland unit. This existing masonry/brick chimney has 3 flu's with a main floor open fire place above this install on the main floor and a capped/unused chimney run also. The dealer was encouraged to use insulation for the stainless flex liner and a block off plate. Naturally the dealer had 42 years and 1349 installs without need of these items? Supposedly.
In a nutshell it would be interesting to hear from any members currently operating this model. Thanks
