Hi all! Happy eary spring...
So I have been running my M55 for years now in Auto and turning on and off with my Lux T900b t-stat, OR, letting it shut off automatically at a late evening programmed time...
All of a sudden, I have the situation where I go to the T-stat and manually shut the stove off (stove is in auto) and it "keeps on going as if it was in Manual" except the flame is much lower....
Haven’t messed with the T-stat, or pulled out the stove or played with the buttons...The only thing I have done is to unplug the stove for a minute and then plugged back in. Any ideas greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Bill

It sounds like your Mode Selector switch got moved to "Hi-Low" from "Auto off".

In Hi-Low mode the stove never shuts off (unless there is an error problem or it runs out of fuel).
In Hi Low Mode......The Thermostat acts like a switch that tells stove to run at what ever high Heat level setting you have selected (1-5) until it reaches desired "Thermostat temperature goal" then to drop down to Level 1 until the Thermostat calls for heat again.
Rinse/repeat etc.
This is how I run my M-55 as I don't want to wear out the igniter in Auto Mode
Good Luck
