Neighbor wanted a couple locusts gone from his front yard. Estimate was $500 for both. $200, case of cheap beer, and some firewood makes em disappear. I’ll post these hinges, not many more normally though Lol.

Are you sure that is locust? The wood is more red than the locust around here. Our locust is more yellow.

Honey locust. Well, perhaps our locust is black locust. Ours is quite different in appearance from yours.
Looks like good firewood though.

Honey Locust are great trees with beautiful wood. At least most ornamental varieties have toned down the thorns from the wild version.
The Black Locust that I have here are angry, complete with 1-1/2” thorns.
