We lost our girl Chyna (in my avatar) the end of June to PDE (pug dog encephalitis) and our home was just too quiet and we missed having a pug. Now his favorite spot is in front of the wood stove!

HA,
He caught you trying to take his pic.
2nd pic shows, it didn't faze him.
The camo made it a little tough to find him in the pic at first glance. ;-)
How old is he?

He's 5 1/2 months old. I have to put a sweater or harness on him or it's hard to find him with dim lights--or on one of my black rugs!

Sorry to hear about your Chyna, but you got a real cutie there to give you a few more years of fun.
Our 2 lab pups are 5.5 and 4.5 months. Older one is Chocolate, and younger is yellow.
I know what you mean about putting something on the dog. Our choc. is too hard to see at night, so on goes the leash when she goes out in the front yard. She's already run into the woods once, and that was enough for me. Should have seen me running back in the house for a flashlight and my wife. I don't panic easily, but that one had me worried.

CG, he's a cutie !!! And obviously very smart ;-)

A pre-heated lap dog for those chilly nights. You are one lucky gal. He's a fine dog and a fine friend I'm sure. I'm so happy you found each other.

Another pug owner here. Your guy is very handsome and he sure is smart... :) Our pug, Tootie, loves the fire and has her bed right in front of it. She spends the evenings lounging and dreaming.

Hey CG, I see you're in the Mojave. My big bro has lived in Barstow for 10 years or so, and moved out to Silver Lakes back in April. Can't say much for Barstow, but the rest of that area is beautiful. There is a great steak house out there and I cannot remember the name. Something Spurs? Might be the best ribeye I have ever eaten.

My youngest daughter lives in Silver Lakes so I go there quite often. Can't say as I know that steak house but if you find out the name, give me a shout! I'm about 40 miles east of Silver Lakes, just north of Big Bear in the desert.

Idle Spurs. You have to check it out next time you visit your daughter. Been there a long time, but it is far and away the best place to eat in Barstow.

Silver Lakes is a great area. We caught trout, bluegill, and bass right off of my brothers back porch. He lives on one of the canals coming off the north lake. Its amazing that they have those lakes out in the middle of the desert. I heard that they pump water from below the dry bed of the Mojave River to maintain the water level?????
