Wheel barrow took a hit this winter, I heard the "crack" when I threw in a split in 0F temps .... I need a new set of wheels, unless I can find a "tub donor"

Looks like last winter made an impression on you...

Last winter had me nervous, and I was a year ahead, or so I thought. Never again.

What kind of woods you got there? On the plus side, your wheelbarrow tray will drain nicely now... ;lol

The tubs are available separately, just got to do a bit of looking around.

Ha !! I can fill it in a rain storm and know that when I get back to it, the firewood won't be swimming ;)

Huge mix ..... oak, cherry, locust, ash, pine (I have to ask for pine, other wise he turns it down from his sons tree company :p), once he learned I'll pay for pine, he's all over it ;lol

Most of it is split for a year, and piled, then loaded and dropped off (he does this for me, not everyone else).. I'll be good to go this season, and next.... just keep plugging along !

Check a local hardware store or lumber yard. Or Menards if you have one near you.

No Menards.

Expensive wheel barrow, it's served me well. I cringed when I threw that split into it, I knew what had happened

I'm going to hit up my local hardware store, and see what he can do for me, known him since we were kids, and he's True Temper.

Some good two-part epoxy might do it...

Prince?? Lol
Is he single?
Is he rich??

Those wheelbarrows with the dual wheels are strange to manuver, it makes me wonder about those new motorcycles with the two front wheels. A neighbor of mine has one and I cant imagine how it feels.

I have one of those 2 wheel wheelbarrows and I hate it. Where the ground is slightly uneven the darned thing wants to tilt left and right to follow the ground contour. I never had that kind of issue with just one wheel.

VERY Married truck driver, which is fine by me ;)

Love, love my dually's, at home and at the barn. They take alittle getting used to, but you can't beat them for moving manuer!

It's just a scratch, in a Monty Python "flesh wound" sort of way...

No pine hating here. The bit of pine mixed in is kind of a bonus IMHO. Gotta have some softwood stacked - to start the occasional fire, shoulder season burns, coax the odd sizzler, etc. As long as you know what your getting its all good.

Went to the local hardware store ... new 8 CF will be in Wednesday, I'm taking the no flats off of the old one, and dropping them off, so when it's assembled, they will be on it. I'll use the shattered tub for leaves, manure, etc.

This needs some form of retirement..[Hearth.com] My Prince Arrived !!!

Looking good Dix, hopefully you wont have to dip into the emergency pile this year.

With the winters we've had, I always end up digging (literally !) into the stash

Usually I have 2 a rows left ( I start dipping into it in March).... this winter I had 1 a row. I never took it off of the deck in the spring, That firewood closest to the rails is some awesomely seasoned stuff !!

Me thinx I got this
