Need advice on new WOOD/OIL gasifier

Hi everyone! We just bought a new house last month. Although our pre-sale inspection said that the existing oil furnace was "marginal", the inspector thought it might give us another year or so. He was wrong. Unfortunately the furnace is shot and our home warranty only covers $1500 towards a new one.
We cannot get gas where we are located and would like something cheaper than JUST oil. The house is about 2200 square feet. It is set up with radiators, so we are looking at changing over to a wood/oil gasifier. We can't seem to find any experts in our area on this. What are the best ones? We'd like an indoor one for the basement.
Is it reasonable to think we can do this for $7000 or less? My husband is a welder. Can he install this himself?

Hot water is electric right now. We don't have propane. Wood supply in our area is great. We would ideally like to rely heavily on wood and use the oil as backup. Gas unavailable as well.

Not too many options for combo units. as i understand it the oil aspect doesnt particularly work as well as a dedicated oil boiler. Woodgun i think does it pretty well tho. It would be a quick solution for you and one of the boilers that is slightly forgiving of wood that isnt quite down to 20% moisture content. Plus they are manufactured in PA. Perfect fit for baseboards and a basement as they give off a bit of heat also. Its close to ur price and not hard to install. Make sure yur chimney is rated for solid fuel and in good shape. I almost got one but my situation was different than yours.
