Burning Hunk
I have a YTL type full beam with the captured rail wedge. It has a LCT Honda clone engine. I purchased a log table from TSC and it bolted right on. It flips vertical and is 22 tons. I got it at Fleet farm for $699 a few years ago.
There is nothing it doesn't split, it will simply shear through the wood if it can't split it. I use the vertical for size reduction on very large rounds before they can be lifted. Engine has been bulletproof, and the predator is a direct bolt in replacement. I know a lot of folks talk about cycle time, but with a single operator, it's really more about operating the stroke length efficiently and good staging. My daughter can split nearly a cord and hour with it, don't need to go faster than that.
