Well, not really. Has anyone encountered a good book or website, or whatever that focuses on IDing wood based on bark and crosscut? Most everything I've seen focuses heavily on foliage, which of course makes sense, except that doesn't help me when I'm trying to ID a log in my drive way. Thanks

I haven't seen anything that shows crosscut. Which would be very useful to firewood searchers.

IDing logs, versus tree trunks in the woods, is pretty different. I'm only good at the latter.
