Nothing terribly new here, actually. Problem, as is so often the case, is finding/developing practical application(s). This phenomenon depends on the suspended object being made from a fairly exotic recipe of materials, and then remaining frozen (and I mean really frozen). Then there's those pesky magnets required to make it work. Interesting, though. I love physics. Rick

Just awesome! I want one of those little tracks in my living room.
I remember riding a mag-lev train in Vancouver at Expo 86. I was too young to really understand, but I knew it was cool! Remember it being much bumpier than I expected for a "floating" train.
