on your advice! ordered the therm probe from condar?
In the meantime, how can I check temp to make sure IM ok. As I've said I have the IR GUN , if there a stove top temp I can shoot for or door or even the first inch before the flue?
THANX AGAIN!!

I really don't understand what you are asking

is there a place on the stove that I can check the temp with the IR GUN til the flue thermometer gets here?
Yes I have the cat thermometer but nothing on the flue yet.

Is this for a Blaze King wood stove? If so, the catalyst thermometer is your guide for now. The probe thermometer will tell you what the flue gas temp is, but it is not mission critical for the next few days while waiting for the shipment to come in. The stovetop temp is the least relevant usually with these stoves.
